Message from our Founders
We believe that with the correct strategy, right mindset, and guided motivation, anyone can break into finance. Recruiting as a college student was a very stressful situation for us. Despite having benefited from peer mentorship ourselves, it was not until our experiences as mentors that we found out how much of an impact one could have on others. We loved working with mentees one-on-one, helping them prepare for technical questions, and refining their story persistently. When our mentees called us and updated us on superday invites and offers they would be really excited, and that in turn made us excited and happy. We really felt that their achievements were our own achievements and seeing the peer mentorship process payoff is the main reason we started GoFurther to help college students land their dream jobs.

Founders
Sean has experience working as a Transaction Advisory Consultant at EY’s San Francisco office and as a Venture Capital Associate at Techstars Atlanta. Sean graduated from UC Berkeley with 3 degrees (Business, Economics, & Geography). He has an MBA and Masters in Law from Emory, and is working on his 6th MSRED degree at Columbia in New York. Sean currently works as a career coach for UC Berkeley and UPenn graduate programs, and as an admissions interviewer at Emory.
Jorge has an MBA from Stanford. Previously, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from USC, with a double degree in Business and Computer Science. Jorge worked in Private Equity at Gryphon Investors and as an investment banker at Houlihan Lokey's Financial Restructuring Group. He currently work s at Stanford as an admissions interviewer.
Anthony has prior experience in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s US Investment Bank and in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory practice in Asia. Anthony earned his Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Chicago, where he graduated with various honors and departmental awards. He has an MBA from Wharton and currently works for the UPenn admissions office as an interviewer.
Finance and Consulting Team
Brian has prior experience at General Electric and at the Boston Consulting Group in Singapore. Brian earned his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he graduated with high honors.
Randall has a Masters in Public Policy from UC Berkeley. He also attended UC Berkeley for college. He has 7 years of experience managing and directing education programs in Mongolia, Macau, China, and the United States.
Antonio is a double degree graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, holding a BS in Economics, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and a minor in Mathematics. Anton worked at Applied Predictive Technologies as an Engagement Manager and Business Consultant.
Eddie is a graduate of Cambridge and University College London, holding a BA (Honors) in Mathematics degree and a Master’s in Computer Science, respectively. He is currently a project manager at the University College London. He has prior finance and operations experience with Credit Suisse.
Nancy has a BA in Legal Studies from UC Berkeley. She worked at Cornerstone Research as a recruiter.
Lane has an MBA from Emory. Lane is currently a consultant at Deloitte. She previously worked at Visa, and at Athenahealth.
Ray is a fullbright scholar and Emory law graduate working at a top real estate law firm.
Kas works in the valuation services group of KPMG in the US. He graduated from Berkeley with a degree in Economics.
Patrick graduated from UC Berkeley and worked at EY SF as an assurance associate.
Hong is a graduate of UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He works at Goldman Sach’s Investment Banking Division in Hong Kong.
Healy is a Public Financial Analyst at the PFM Group in Los Angeles. Previously, Healy has worked in various finance and investment banking positions in the Blue Shield of California, at Cogent Valuation, GP Bullhound, and Vaquero Capital. He graduated from UC Berkeley with various honors.
Duy graduated from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and has experience working in an internal consulting department at Disney.
Engineering, Sciences, and Social Sciences Team
Michi is a Harvard MBA and a summer consultant at Bain. She is a co-founder of CAMP Philippines, an organization that has successfully placed Filipinos in top colleges around the world. She graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Sociology (Cum Laude with High Honors, Richard Glover Ames and Henry Russell Ames Awardee).
Eric is a social media and data science entrepreneur with a focus on finding innovative algorithms to bridge relevant information from multiple sources to the global internet community. He has a PhD, a Masters, and an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley.
Kim is a marketing specialist with experiences in IdeaSpace's startup incubator and Zalora's marketing group. She graduated from Northwestern, where she studied Journalism and Economics.
Aadi is an economics student at University of Chicago. He worked as an analyst at HGR Digital Asset Group, a leading hedge fund for cryptoassets.
Shelly is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where she studied Integrative Biology.
Darin is a student at UC Berkeley, where he studies Cellular and Molecular Biology. Darin enjoys composing and conducting music for orchestras in his free time.
Alyana is a Master’s student at University of Oslo, where she studies International and Comparative Education. Previously, Alyana has work experience working on projects such as designing Apple Stores for MBH Architects and Mark Cavagnero Associates in San Francisco. Alyana has a Bachelor of Architecture from UC Berkeley, and has minors in Spanish and Environmental Design in Developing Countries.
Chris is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where he studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His work experience includes application programming for the UC Berkeley Boalt School of Law and TubeMogul.
Noel is a junior at University of Chicago, where he is studying Public Policy. He has interned for several companies including the World Health Organization.
Alyzza is a gradute of UC Berkeley. She majored in Economics and Political Science.
Jacob is a Master’s student at Stanford University, where he studies Symbolic Systems. Jacob graduated from UCLA with a double major in Cognitive science and Statistics. He is interested in startups and in developing user interfaces and designs.
Tat Meng is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where he studied Psychology.
